What Is Multi Level Marketing?

 What Is Multi Level Marketing?

One winter afternoon, a friend whom I worked with the summer before, called me and told me about this multi level marketing business he had started. Curious, I asked him what it was about, so he shared some information with me. It was a network marketing company that offered savings to it’s’ co-op members, traditional business owners, and families. Excited to find out what all the company entailed, I invited him over to our house to take a look at it. He showed my wife Heather and I a DVD which explained the company’s background and its’ services. Heather and I were very interested in what he had to say so we got some more information from other members about how the company had helped them and their families. After considering all the positive aspects about the company and its compensation plan, I joined shortly after meeting with him. Ever since then, I’ve really became fascinated with the multi level marketing industry.

What Is Multi Level Marketing? And How Can It Help You Make Extra Money?

Network marketing (also known as multi level marketing or MLM) is a direct sales business where representatives from certain companies, promote their companies’ products or services by word of mouth advertising. Distributors from companies rely on selling their products, and or recruiting others into the company and teaching them to do the same. This is known as “duplication” in the MLM industry. One great thing about network marketing is that it can be done it your spare time. For some people who still work a 9 to 5 job, they can easily schedule their time to work their business around their everyday busy schedule. It doesn’t matter if you’re male or female to take part in network marketing. The opportunity to make extra money is equal to both genders. There are hundreds of different companies who offer a wide spectrum of products or services. From beauty supplies, health drinks, or travel plans, there is something different for everyone to promote what best suits their interest.  Another perk about network marketing is there is no boss one has to answer to. There are no deadlines to meet, no long commutes, or no long hours at the office.

This is really great because you’re working for yourself, but not by yourself. There is usually a whole team of people in every company who help new reps when they are first starting out, and are there to continue helping when they are building their business. Network marketing can be very exciting and fun also because you get to meet fun and energetic people who will help you learn, grow and have success. Some companies also offer incentives for its reps to work harder to promote their company. These can be in the form of cash, cruises, or cars!

Compensation varies from company to company. Some companies strictly do commission only, while others offer pay plans that are called “matrixes”. A matrix pay plan is designed (depending on the size of the matrix) to have a certain amount of people either underneath you, above you, or beside you in the pay plan. For example, a pay plan could be a 3 x 14 matrix. When a person is placed (let’s use “Dave” and “Sue” for names) is placed in the matrix, there will be somebody on their left and right, (their “Dave and Sue”). Dave’s 3rdperson and your 1st person are one and the same. Likewise, your 3rd person and Sues’ 1stperson are one and the same. Typically, anyone can fill the position first. This pattern continues down 14 levels. Therefore, the title 3×14 matrix is given.  Binary plans have a left leg and a right leg business. When someone joins this type of pay plan, they are either placed on the left side or right side of their sponsors business. Binary plans usually have limitless depth, and are based on points. If a certain point is matched on both sides, compensation is made to the distributor for reaching those points.

One of the oldest and well-known multi level marketing companies is Avon, which was started in 1886 by founder David H. McConnell. As a traveling book salesman, he offered free perfume samples that he made to women to get in their door. He noticed they were more interested in the perfume than the books. He also noticed that most women were struggling financially as well. McConnell then offered his perfumes to women to start marketing his products.  The very first Avon lady he recruited was Mrs.P.F.E. Albee, of New Hampshire. Other well-known and successful companies are, Tupperware, Mary Kay, Amway, and Pampered Chef. A recent statistic shows that an estimated 600,000 people join the network marketing industry worldwide every year and for good reason. Whether to bring in extra income for job loss, retirement, or college, more and more people are starting some type of home based business.

Is Multi Level Marketing A Scam?

Now some might say that network marketing may be a “scam” or “pyramid scheme”. This couldn’t be farther from the truth. In actuality, corporate America can be looked as a pyramid. As children, most people were taught that they need to go to school and then graduate from college. Then they work a forty, or even sixty hour a week job for forty years for forty percent pay. Most people may end up working for a boss for the rest of their life, and not ever get ahead to become financially independent. Network marketing is based on sales. The more people you talk to about your business, the better results one can have. A distributor for a company depends solely on their people skills and attitude to build a successful home based business. However, those who don’t reach the level of success they want often talk down about network marketing and give it a bad name. These are the same people who continue with their everyday lives, stay at the same job (which they may even hate), and are often stuck in a rut living paycheck to paycheck. A recent article I read raised my interest.

(Fanale, 2010) “Ray Higdon had $300 in his bank account 14 month ago. He had been crushed by the Florida real estate market and really didn’t know what he was going to do. Through the power of the Internet and attraction marketing he has not only become an L4 in MLSP®but also the #1 income earner in his primary company, winning 5 vacations and a $100,000 2011 BMW 7 series.”

“I had struggled in almost a dozen MLM’s, doing everything they told me to do but nothing really worked. With the training of MLSP®and attraction marketing I have been able to recruit over 130 reps using the Internet and have become the #1 income earner in my company. The best part is my 130 reps have turned into over 3600 reps by teaching them a system that can be duplicated and tied to online prospecting.”~Ray Higdon Fort Myers, FL

What Is Amway? Also, Is Amway A Scam?

What Is Amway? And Is Amway A Scam?

There’s no doubt that if you’ve ever been approached by somebody about a home base business, the one question that most likely popped in your mind was, “Is it Amway?”  That’s how powerful the Amway name is. That leads to the question most people ask after that, “Is Amway a scam?” Let’s dig a little deeper shall we?

What Is Amway, and How Does It Work?

Founded in 1959, Amway is a direct selling company and manufacturer that uses network marketing, (also known as direct selling), which uses the multi-level marketing business structure , to sell a variety of products, primarily in the health, beauty, and home care products. Each Amway representatives main goal is to share the Amway business model, by selling Amway products, and /or recruiting their customers into becoming Amway reps themselves. This is known as duplication in the network marketing industry.

Although there has been some accusations about Amway being a scam, nothing vould be further from the truth. New Amway reps who start off their business, are usually excited to make the big money they might have been promised to by their sponsor. If their goals are not met when they thought, they probably get frustrated and quit building their Amway business, and say it’s a scam. This is why the MLM industry has a “bad” reputation. Close to 97% of people who start any type of work from home business end up quitting the industry when they don’t get the easy money they were hoping for.

what is amway

How Can You Make Money With Amway If There’s No Scam?

That’s a great question, and my answer is this. With the way our society gets our information, we’re always looking for quicker and faster. Well I’m here to tell you that you can make money in the network marketing industry, IF you’re willing to do the work. If you don’t treat your Amway business like a real business, you won’t get very far. But if you roll up your sleeves and get cracking, you could make some serious money. Remember though, Amway is a network marketing business, and not everybody you talk to wants to join your Amway business. So how do you find people to talk to?

Recruiting For Your Amway Business

Like any other network marketing opportunity, Amway requires each IBO (Independent Busines Owner) to talk to people who might be interested in joining an MLM based business to make extra money from home. Not everybody will be open to hearing your business opportunity with Amway, which could lead to frustration and the idea of quitting.

Many new Amway IBO’s will try to recruit their neighbors, friends, and family members into their business. While some might say “Yes”, more will say “No” to their opportunity. In order to have true success with any MLM business, you need to have a fresh list of leads and contacts to talk to regarding your opportunity.

How To Find Amway Leads

Finding fresh leads and contacts from the internet to talk about your  Amway opportunity to can be quite easy, if you have a proven marketing system to help you succeed. Learning how to leverage the internet to build your Amway business can be overwhelming if you are trying to do it on your own. Or you can have a team of experts to train you in your journey.

If having people calling YOU, and asking YOU about your Amway opportunity appeals to you, that most IBO’s can’t tell you about, click on the link below.

Herbalife Scam-What Are The Top Earners Hiding?

Herbalife Scam-What Are The Top Earners Hiding?

Founded in 1980 by Mark Hughes, Herbalife is a global nutrition company that “has helped people pursue a healthy, active life.” Herbalife’s first product was a protein shake to help people manage their weight – a groundbreaking idea at the time. Along with introducing people to a healthier way to live, Mark wanted to give people the opportunity to earn extra income. So he based the company as a direct-selling model, enabling people to become Herbalife Independent Distributors and earn part-time or full-time income. After doing some digging, I found that there is no Herbalife scam. The only ones who might think that there is some type of Herbalife sacm, are the former reps who weren’t able to get the results they wanted in their Herbalife business.

With No Herbalife Scam, Why Do People Quit?

Most new reps who join Herbalife may not have the success they want right away because they don’t treat it like a real business. To be successful in network marketing, you have to work hard and KNOW how to market properly. Most network marketing companies, including Herbalife, have their new reps make a list of their “hot market” prospects, also known as friends and family members. After running out of names on their list, some Herbalife reps end up quitting, and fall into the 95-97%  category of MLM drop-outs.

How Can I Have Success If There’s No Herbalife Scam?

Like I said before, you need to work hard to build a successful Herbalife business, and you need to find people who actually want to be Herbalife reps. Now with that said, most new Herbalife reps will miss the boat with what I’m about to explain. There is a way for you to get ahead of the competition within Herbalife.

Herbalife appears to be a well-respected company with a great compensation plan to represent. But remember, it is a network marketing opportunity that requires you to promote a product to those who might be interested, and then turn those customers into Herbalife reps.

Signing new reps into your Herbalife business can be easy, if you have a proven marketing system in place that shows you how to attract an endless supply of Herbalife leads to you from the internet. Some reps might struggle for months or even years if they lack proper MLM/network marketing training. If having leads and prospects contacting you about your Herbalife business is something that you are searching for and want to achieve by positioning yourself as a leader in the network marketing industry, click on the link below to learn how you can get massive results today.

MLM-How To Build A Stronger Downline

MLM-How To Build A Stronger Downline

When most people decide to join an MLM business, they often see it as a “quick fix” in order to create some fast cash to help them out in a pinch. For whatever reason they decide to start a business, most might get caught up in the fantasy of becoming a millionaire overnight. When in fact, nothing can be farther from the truth, and here’s why.

MLM-How To Set A Realistic Goal

Building an MLM  business from home takes some serious hard work. If you treat it like a hobby, it will pay you like one. But if you roll up your sleeves and treat it like a REAL business, it could help you create some great extra income. Dedication, self motivation, and some support from your up-line, are just a few key ingredients needed to help you succeed in the network marketing industry.

If you’re currently in an MLM opportunity and not getting the results you were hoping for, you’re not alone. A lot of new MLM business owners still work full time jobs in corporate America. Which could be one of the reasons why they join an MLM in the first place. A busy family schedule, work, or even going back to school could be significant factors for one’s lack of success in building a strong MLM downline. So what can be done differently to build an MLM business?

MLM-How To Get More Leads

Now if you’ve been in the MLM industry for some time, or less than one week, you’re probably famaliar with the famous “Hot market list” of 100 friends and family members that your company wants you to tell about your business. But how many times have you pitched your opportunity to these people? How many tmes have they told you “No”? There is a better and less painful way to find  targeted leads to talk to about your MLM opportunity. And they’re closer than you think.

MLM-How To Get More Cash For Your Business

Most MLM’s usually require you to buy so much product each month to qualify for the monthly auto-ship. This OK if you have some other type of income to help you pay for it, or if you’re selling it to your customers. But what if you’re NOT selling any product? It’s most likely piling up in your basement or garage just taking up space. So what can you do to help pay for your auto-ship without cancelling your shipment?

How To Be A Mary Kay Consultant

How To Be A Mary Kay Consultant

Founded in 1963 with about $5,000 in savings, Mary Kay Ash asked for the help of her 20-year-old son, Richard, and  created Beauty by Mary Kay. It was a company like no other. A company dedicated to making life more beautiful for women. It was founded not on the competitive rule, but rather on the “Golden Rule”, praising people to success and on the principle of placing faith first, family second and career third. It was a company, as Mary Kay Ash often said, “with heart.”

Will becoming a Mary Kay consultant help you? Maybe you’re a mom looking to be a Mary Kay consultant who wants to make some extra money for your family on the side. Or maybe you want financial freedom to do the things that your regular job can’t. Whatever your reason may be, will becoming a Mary Kay consultant benefit you? Let’s find out.

Mary Kay Consultants-What Are Their Jobs?

As a Mary Kay consultant, your job would be to tell other people about Mary Kay products and their services. This would be done by old fashion “word of mouth” advertising to other women that you may know, and might be interested in joining Mary Kay. At present time, there are over 39,000 women worldwide who are active Mary Kay consultants, with more than 600 who have become Independent National Sales Directors, the highest status within the independent sales force.

Selling Mary Kay products can be done three different ways: on the go with the Mary Kay quarterly catalog called “The Look”, on-line with your personal Mary Kay website, or by person to person selling. This usually involves home parties or even hotel meetings if a large amount of people are attending. You can earn 50% on everything you sell (on suggested retail price) for skin care, makeup, body care, fragrances, new orders or re-orders.

Building A Successful Mary Kay Business

Beings that Mary Kay has been around for almost fifty years, there’s no doubt that they are a strong business. With sales reaching the 2.5 billion dollar amount globally, Mary Kay consultants can make some extra money part-time. However, not everyone you might talk to will be interested in becoming a Mary Kay consultant. The company’s compensation plan appears to be transparent and uncomplicated, targeting growth potential. But remember, it is a network marketing opportunity that requires you to promote a product to those who might be interested, and then turn those customers into Mary Kay reps.

Most MLM companies suggest that you build a “hot or warm market list”, which usually consists of friends and family members to approach
about your opportunity. After going through their list and eventually running out of names, most new reps sadly won’t achieve the success they were hoping for. This is why close to 97% of new network marketers decide to quit and eventually give up.

Signing new reps into your Mary Kay business can be easy, if you have a proven marketing system in place that shows you how to attract an endless supply of Mary Kay leads to you from the internet. Now in its eighteenth year, AdvoCare has positioned itself as an award-winning brand validated mostly by mid-tier athletes. The company’s compensation plan appears to be transparent and uncomplicated, targeting growth potential. But remember, it is a network marketing opportunity that requires you to promote a product to those who might be interested, and then turn those customers into AdvoCare reps.
Most MLM companies suggest that you build a “hot or warm market list”, which usually consists of friends and family members to approach

An average 700 billion minutes per month are spent on Facebook by registered people. You could increase sales by forming a fanpage on Facebook, finding your target market, and advertising to them with either PPC (pay-per-click) ads, and getting leads and sales that way. Another way you could increase sales using Facebook would be by starting a “group”. You can ask people to join your group, and inform them about your products or service.
